I wasn't happy with the colour scheme in the last attempt - too dull - so I gave it another start. You probably know how much I dislike doing scenes in the dark, which is a pity, as about 60% of my favourite scenes take place between the Darkening of Valinor and the first rising of the Sun, haha....

I'm trying out my new toy: a glass pen! It's fantastic for very thin lines, even with masking fluid, so I hope this'll come in handy here.
Still got some tweaking to do, but... yay.

Something I've never really tried before, but I really like where this is going. Heck, after twenty-five years of considering it, I might at some point paint the Music of the Ainur. =O

Fingon upon Thangorodrim, being badass. He carried that harp for miles and miles, and he's going to use it.
The swirls will hold some veeeery faint Valinor scenes, in a warmer and lighter colour than the rest.
