I told you I was getting a ton of art ideas from the Prancing Pony Podcast - here's some of them! I spent the day with my daughter and her friends celebrating her birthday (very late; it was in September) at a farm. While the girls played in the hay barn, I sat in the warm party room drinking tea and drawing. Definitely a good way to do birthdays.
The first image is Maedhros giving the horses to Fingolfin in atonement for the desertion in Araman. (Incidentally, has anyone ever noticed what an absolute cluster of Romanic words there is in that passage? We have assuage, atonement, and desertion in that small paragraph. I vividly remember reading the Silmarillion for the first time in English and having to look up all of these, and feeling like an utter idiot because I couldn't even deduce the first two from Latin.)
Also, I promise I'll come up with a better title than "A Gift Horse" if I finish this. XD

Then there's one that will need a bit more work - Tuor exiting Vinyamar and being greeted by the swans. Right now, his stance and expression is a bit too "wtf swans", so that will definitely have to change. My main objective here was to make the swans look graceful and arrange them in a way that they draw you towards him.
