A Quick Lineup Update

Hello, my lovelies! So, we've had some changes in the upcoming story queue, and I wanted to go over them and sort of give an update from January's original lineup.

In January, the Winter-Spring lineup was something like:

• Guests of the Mapleseed Ch. 03-04
• Tesseract Trance Ch. 03-04
• Evergreen Treats Ch. 06 (or Gretel vs. Cuttlemaid)
• Really Should Go
• Some mix of Winter Rose/Teacher's Pet/Tesseract Trance/older BPs

So, first, obviously, we've completed the first three items on that list! I'm excited to have a bit more breathing room. At the same time, my financial situation has tightened pretty badly. I've contacted a few prospective commissioners in my queue, and if they're game, my lineup might change further.

Also, notably, Tesseract Trance will be on hiatus for the time being while some commission finance stuff gets ironed out. I'm sure we'll get back to it soon, though! 

That said, here's the new lineup.

• Gretel vs. Cuttlemaid Bad End
• Teacher's Pet Ch. 08-09
• Really Should Go Ch. 02-03
• Bard vs. Kitsune BP
• Winter Rose Ch. 02-03

Assuming things have calmed down by then, I'm planning to do a big push in April or May, sort of a mini-NaNoWriMo, with a goal of around 30,000 words. I honestly want to do it in March, but I know things right now are too chaotic to keep up with anything new. But with any luck, in 1-2 months, I'll close the month out with a solid buffer and, better still, a couple series fully ready to wrap up.

I honestly consider the bounce-around technique I do to be a necessary evil, a negotiation with my shifting hyperfixations and my reader's diverse tastes. If I posted ten chapters of Teacher's Pet in a row, people who like lighter stories, mf stories or high fantasy stories would feel left in the cold. If I only ever worked between two series, I'd get burned out and my eye would start wandering.

Unfortunately, I've bounced around so much lately that I have too much sitting unfinished from too many corners! Don't think I've forgotten Intrepid Pawns or Mapleseed or Minding Her Manor, or, heck, Alrek/Larya's storyline. That's why I want to aim for a couple big pushes, so I can have the luxury of bouncing around a little more safely.

Anyways, I'll let y'all know more as we get closer to the month! In the meantime, I'm cautiously optimistic about things.
