I didn't notice it the first time I watched this episode but when the explosion happened it looked like there was a ball of fire around zuko. Maybe it's similar to the ball of air that ang made around himself in the water.

Admiral Zhou did say that the Water Tribe survived a hundred years of war due to the fact that they are so far north and surrounded by an ocean lol i think they have a fighting chance

Well I mean, that's not black and white lol. American culture was once blatantly racist, you can't say "nothing wrong" with people promoting that even if it was "part of the culture." If you went somewhere where infant sacrifice was integral to the culture, you couldn't just shrug it off?
