X-Men: The Wolverine (FULL MOVIE REACTION)

Hey guys!

Ok THIS movie is truly incredible! This one has to be my favorite X-Men movie we've checked out so far! That's not even due to the fact that I was watching this movie cholo-style!

I want to see some top 3 lists from you guys. What are your TOP 3 favorite X-Men movies? I'm excited to read some of those!

I hope you all have a kickass day and an even better weekend! She-Hulk episodes dropping later today! Sorry for the hold up on those!

For next movie, I will turn up the sound on here! I have a feeling that will be one of the only constructive criticisms for this style!

Love,

Alex

If it was the extended cut, there would’ve been bloody sequences. This is the theatrical

Jalen Rongomas

Is this the theatrical or the extended cut?

YannickWega

just noticed mariko's dad was in Endgame

Top 3: Days of future past The last stand First class

Joshua Zamora

While this isn’t high on my list of favorites, I do like how they depicted the serious impact of Logan’s healing being taken away, with the way he fights and the way he takes risks because that’s his original natural mutant power

Heather Marie

1. Days of Future Past 2. First Class 3. Apocalypse

Heather Marie

The rest of the X-Men movies so far... X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014) Deadpool (2016) X-Men: Apocalypse (2016) Logan (2017) Deadpool 2 (2018) X-Men: Dark Phoenix (2019) The New Mutants (2020) I think X2 is my favorite. Probably nostalgia reasons more than the movie itself, though. Forgetting that, Deadpool is the top. Logan. Dude. It's just not fair to consider Logan on a favorite X-Men list. My favorite scene is Quicksilver at the mansion in Apocalypse. Can't wait for you to see that!

Brian Stanaland

in the comics I think he was actually married to Mariko for a time. And the "archer" dude in the comics was actually the Silver Samurai, not her father but no one had the plot to steal his powers either. I think you missed the end credit scene of X-Men: The Last Stand. It had showed that Charles/Professor X had transferred his consciousness into the comatose patient. There was a scene where he was posing the ethical question to his students about giving the body of the comatose patient to someone else. They were video conferencing with the comatose patient's doctor, a doctor Moira MacTaggert who we saw have more of a role in X-Men: First Class as the CIA agent. Of course, what isn't explained is how Charles is able to look like Charles after taking the body of someone who would not look like Charles. You could assume that he's just projecting the mental image everyone knows and love but that is no longer what he really looks like, or that with his powers he could easily find a mutant whose gift it is to alter people's appearances like molding clay. But it also begs the question... one would think that the powers of the mutation is in the DNA which is in the body that Jean disintegrated. It really doesn't make much sense from a logical view but that's why these are all based on comics. Seriously though... you really should check out some easter egg videos (please).

Some feedback on this video format. Not having control of the movie/reaction volume mix is really not good. Not having access to Close Captions or Subtitles for foreign language sequences sucks. And you really need to clarify which version (or what source) you are watching, the version of this movie you watched was missing multiple scenes, some quite lengthy.

Did Patreon change something about their video player/link? Normally you can click through to the YT post and play it from there, but now you can't? I don't like that at all. Maybe you need to start including a direct link to the YT vid in the description/details of your posts. like Natalie Gold does.

At the very end, when Logan and Mariko were saying goodbye... in the background someone handed the red-banged girl a large box. The Directors Cut has a deleted scene where Logan asks what's in the box, and it's a comic-accurate, yellow, Wolverine costume. It's pretty cool. For VERY good reason. It's an awesome movie, and I'm kinda jealous that you get to watch it for the first time lol. When I feel like watching one of the X-Men movies, it's usually my go-to.

Jessica Meigs

But you will love Deadpool @Alex. You and Deadpool go hand in hand like 2 little schoolgirls.

SaniTheSerbianMuslim

The Rogue Cut added 17 minutes of extra scenes to the theatrical cut of the film, but whereas these extended versions often only add material, The Rogue Cut made several changes to the overall storyline of X-Men: Days of Future Past. Also in the theatrical cut Rogue only received a Cameo.

SaniTheSerbianMuslim

Side note: when you get to Deadpool 2, try to go for the Super Duper Cut

TWIZTIDpsycho69

oh wow i love that

Alex Hefner

I feel like if i went out of order people would set my house aflame

Alex Hefner

you got it! i noticed that too! I will definitely be turning up the volume. great catch!

Alex Hefner

Love this comment! its the honesty for me

Alex Hefner

first class was super sick!

Alex Hefner

I can't wait to get to Deadpool

Alex Hefner

DOFP seems to be a common favorite!

Alex Hefner

that rogue cut must make the difference!

Alex Hefner

LEAST favorite?! how???

Alex Hefner

The bear in the beginning is a great analogy for Logan. He mercy killed the bear in pain because, like it, he suffers from pain and trauma but can't have a peaceful death/closure. They were both beasts being hunted (by hunters/yakuza) that only hurt others out of self defense. Also, Logan being shot with the arrows by the ninjas parallel the poison arrow that was found in the bear.

this

Gian Camp

Correction, First Class is my favorite.

Allen Werner

Top three, Logan Deadpool X2 If you ask me, Logan is the best. I know you are doing this in release order but I would highly recommend you ending the Xmen movies with Logan, such a fitting end for the 20th Century Fox Xmen series before going to the MCU

TWIZTIDpsycho69

My only feedback regarding the new format is that you need to adjust the sound balance. Your audio is considerably louder than the movie. Otherwise, this is my second favorite XMen movie, behind Days of Future Past! Respect to the cholo vibe, btw.

Allen Werner

same here

Matthew McMahon

For me, my top three are 1) Deadpool 2) Logan 3) Not sure, to be honest I can't pick a third. I loved Deadpool because it was both hilarious and action packed while sticking true to who/what Deadpool was. It could've been an awful movie but they made it very entertaining and fun. Logan is well, look at my name. xD lol, no, that movie flat kicks ass without needing to go too over the top like this one chose to. I'm for sure looking forward to future Marvel releases to watch with you! :)

Logan Kerlee

Logan Days of Future Past First Class

QadenJames

Deadpool 1&2 are my top choice but not counting that Logan and X-men Days of Future Past are great too.

Jessica Houser

I'm not including the Deadpool movies here. Those are...well, they're in a class all their own lol.

Jessica Meigs

My favorites are definitely (in no particular order) Logan, First Class, and Days of Future Past.

Jessica Meigs

Logan, Deadpool, X-men Days of Future Past (Rogue Cut).

SaniTheSerbianMuslim

Oh god this one was by FAR my least favourite one. Top 3 are Logan, First Class and Origins (unpopular opinion), followed closely by X2

Michaela Stevens

1 - Logan 2 - First Class 3 - Deadpool

Tom Painter

PLEASE watch the rogue cut of days of futures past its the better version

Marquis keel

Logan Deadpool 1 Xmen days of futures past the rogue cut

Marquis keel

This movie was my favorite X-Men movie, until Logan came out. 1. Logan 2. The Wolverine 3. Deadpool I forgot about Days of Future Past... that might be number 2.

LoganPool

nvm i’m just illiterate

Diego Guevara

bro forgot about she hulk

Never been to Japan, but I've heard Universal Studios Japan is good, and also Tokyo Disneyland, Fuji-Q Highland, and Nagashima Spa Land.
