The above is a Lewdschool assignment I wanted to also share with you. Explanation further down, but first...
Everyone, thank you so much for all the support in 2018. I wish you a happy 2019, and let's get excited for what it brings! This year has been a very good one, I hope you enjoyed the pictures and comics (all or just some of them!) and our little engagements we have here on Patreon.
I'll work to make more and better stuff next year, I'm already raring to finish the big projects ongoing at the moment. In January, please look forward to a Galko's Sis huge picture series and more progress on 'Elven Scent' comic, as well as more sneak peeks of the following Vem series instalment and the cave scene teased in the previous post. The aim is to release 'Elven Scent' in the first quarter, I'll be penciling the pages through January - finally settled on a page count, but I wanna flesh the sketches out more before I show them to you. Of course, there will be more sketches and the Knight ceremony. Another vote is unlikely for January, but I'll try to do as much design done on these big projects so we can have some fun with character fanart in February.
Resolutions I'm not too keen on, instead I will simply continue what I've been doing already: beef up the presentation. The fact that I usually work on longer-term projects like comics or complex pictures means there's lulls between stages. I'll improve my work file templates and workflow to create more presentable sketches for you to look at! Thank you again for bearing with my drab green/brown/gray sketch plates.
Lastly, the above picture. I've used the previous couple of days to focus on studies some more (which I'll post with the warmup sketches), and grind out some outstanding Lewdschool assignments. One of our tasks was to prepare a vision of The Big One, maybe a goal, a book that we want to make, something more tangible... Goals are very scary for me. Once you attain them, then what?
I'd much rather imagine what I want to be doing, which is what the above picture shows. Your support here and in other places on the Internet is invaluable, my hope is I'm coming closer and closer to telling stories that engage the reader as pictured, thanks to you! And if it's not for everybody... Good! I'd much rather polarize than make lukewarm little pictures.
Have a good NYE party or what have you (I'm taking it real easy and calm this year, eager to work in the morning!), enjoy your time and look forward to the new posts here soon.
