Time for feedback.

Hello everyone! The 0.17 update has finally seen the light of day, and here comes the first news post after the release.

I won’t go into all the difficulties I had during the development that caused the delay – I already talked about them previously. Now it’s best to focus on what has been made and what is there to look forward to.

For a long time, I’ve been thinking over the necessity of having a place you could spend your money on, where you would come across lewd events (aside from Mnazon’s missions) and a place having events that would require high SPL LST level. And the “Arcade” fits this description perfectly. In 0.17 I focused on more “soft, relaxed” content. Most of the events - besides the ones related to the director - do not require a high SPL LST levels.

This time I paid extra attention to Noemi’s costumes. There wasn’t as much interaction with it prior to 0.17 – and if there was, it was a separate thing. I decided to change the approach and now all actions – groping the breasts, raising the skirt, etc. are a part of a whole scene. Besides, some costumes have (and will have) special art. And it is not limited to undressing scenes.

I spent quite some time working on the background art. I wanted players to feel that the events take place in the “Arcade” or somewhere around it, not somewhere else.

For the clients outside and inside I created a new repeat system, where you click on certain icons and repeat the actions from the events you’ve already seen.

I also slightly made the animations more complex, adding more differences for the quick option.

Additionally, I did a lot of work on the technical side of the update. It took more time than previously, but it should make working on future updates much easier. If you need more details – it’s related to animation and, most importantly, text.

I will still have to test it, but it’s quite possible that this will be the last update where you could run into the Russian text playing in English. Since all the text will be located in one place and missing translations will be much harder. Also inserting English text won’t be taking more than a couple of hours with the new method. For comparison: in this update, it took me two days to do that.

I also had content related to Luka planned for this update – however, once I started working on the text, I quickly realized there was no way to fit it in. Besides I was not entirely sure about all aspects of his events. But now I have a couple of interesting ideas on where I could direct his route. More on this in a separate post and a poll.

By the way, excuse me for all the bugs in this update – and thanks for your patience. I will look through the game and quickly fix them – all the way, not just the new content. And only then I will release the version for Android.

Now let me get ahead of myself a bit. The next update will be featuring the brothel. Naturally, it will bring new events in the brothel, but it will also affect the “Arcade” by introducing lewder events there. New types of clients will be introduced – mobster and policeman. Certainly, they would want to get more than just watching or groping.

I will let you know what exactly you can expect in the next update once I finish the plan for it. However, I’m coming back to my usual schedule – a 3-month break between updates. I will be aiming for 10,000 words.
