INNER CIRCLE - Beer Video Editing
Added 2024-10-16 16:58:11 +0000 UTCI forgot to talk about the sound. The sound in this video is the in-camera microphone on the GoPro itself. I did record all of my dialogue separately with a different microphone, but I ended up loving the sound as-is. It's shitty, and you can't hear it, but I think all of that makes it better.

Yes I had the levels mixed wrong in the other editing BTS video as well and thought I fixed it for this one but it was still wrong. Should have it right for next time!

2024-10-16 20:55:07 +0000 UTCWeird comparison, but the foam shot reminds me of Mandy (2018) where they did this weird effect of having a face overlay over another character and they would interchange the two faces throughout the scene. It was incredibly off-putting as it takes you a couple seconds for your brain to process what is happening. I feel like this is basically the same effect but it being practical, than VFX. There is also somewhat use of visual storytelling which may not be intentional. Enjoyed this a lot, thanks Dan!!
