Unfortunately I have to delay today's release - it's just not at a place where it should be released yet.
I'm very sorry about this, and it's not something I enjoy doing to you guys. Read on for the status update.

Renders are taking WAY longer than anticipated since I'm rendering at twice the resolution of last time.

Why the Delay?
The main reason are the renders. They are taking WAY longer than I anticipated. Here is a breakdown comparison starting with Dexter's Mom's Scenes:
Each shot was rendered at 1920 x 1080.
A randomly chosen frame started at 09:03:27 and ended at 09:07:35, which is 4 Minutes and 8 Seconds per frame.
For a 1 Second animation (at 30fps), that's equivalent to 1.5 hours of Render Time per every second of finished animation.
For Sarah Bellum, I wanted to increase the quality of a few things:
Each shot was rendered at 2560 x 1440
A randomly chosen frame started at 12:24:07 and ended at 12:35:16, which is 11 Minutes and 9 Seconds per frame.
For a 1 second animation (at 30fps), that's equivalent to 5.5 hours of Render Time per every second of finished animation.
That's.....an enormous difference.
Not to mention that I'm hoping to spend more time on the artwork in the future, now that a lot of the ugly programming is behind me. I also want to render at 4k in the next release.

What's the plan going forward?
This is obviously unsustainable for me going forward, so here's what I'm thinking:
Buy a new PC, to devote one of them to full-time rendering. Expensive, but doable.
Outsource the rendering to a rendering farm company. This is extremely expensive, and I'm not making enough money from this project to justify that yet.
I can get creative about the rendering. If I render just 1 frame of the background, and then render the full animations with only the characters, then I can super-impose the character animation on top of the background. This would dramatically drop the rendering time, but it's not going to look as clean. However, considering you guys have been accepting of the simple backgrounds I've had in the game so far, then this might not be a big deal. More than likely, I'll try this method for the next release and wait for feedback.

How are you going to make it up to us?
I'm going to strip naked and walk around the neighborhood flogging myself. I'm not going to stream this, but just trust me on it.
I'm gonna make sure the Goodie Bag Drop has more...engaging stuff in it. Actual Higher-res renders of a few girls posing, and we'll try the "digital stickers" thing. Message me if you have more ideas.
Last time a delay happened, I gave you guys sneak peaks. I'll be doing the same this time.
