Hi, yinz. It's my week off from posting. This was a rough month, writing-wise, but in the past week I've gotten into a good groove. I've got the next chapter of "Doctor's Orders" almost finished, and I wrote a cute little story about a dad getting it on with his son's best friend - that one just needs to be revised.

The next (final, I think) chapter of "Once a Cheater" is well underway, too. Funny thing about that story: I'm getting reactions to it that I've never gotten before with my fiction. People are taking it seriously, and seem genuinely invested in the characters. It tickles me, and also makes me want to ensure that the final chapter is as good as it can possibly be.

One fun thing that's happened recently is I started working on a painting. I've painted four murals on walls over the past decade - psychedelic, geometric, colorful things - and I've always wanted to do the same thing on a smaller, portable scale. The idea of painting on a canvas has intimidated me, but now I'm charging through the fear and having a good bit of fun with it. I'll post some pics when I'm done (you can see a bit of an initial attempt in the pic above).
