2023-11-21 01:42:19 +0000 UTCLoved hearing your thoughts at the end. Most fans of Smallville agree that the show reinvents itself every couple of seasons. IMO, Seasons 1-4 are a Teen coming of Age/Buddy (Clark & Lex) show. Seasons 5-7 are a Soap/Melodrama/Action show. And season 8-10 are a the big leagues where we finally get to Metropolis. Part of why this is successful is because Clark (& crew) are always growing, learning and changing, which makes it very rewarding.

Season 4 (the weird season arc but with some great individual episodes) is seen as stand alone senior year. Seasons 5-7 is seen as the real turn of Lex to evil. Then season 8-10 is seen as final part.
