I LOVE this show. I still have the books. I’m in south west wales and if it wasn’t for netflix i wouldnt be able to watch the series. I forgot how young everyone was when they started out, so much nostalgia.

2023-09-04 16:24:48 +0000 UTChaving watched all the seasons (that are available on netflix - i think we're a season behind what airs in canada), it's strange to watch this pilot again. i understand why you'd compare heartland to mcleod's daughters - there's definitely some overlap between them with the horses and challenges of ranch life and family dynamics. rich neighbors wanting to buy their land. but also a number of differences too. now, if you get an episode of wildfire in, that'd be the horse-girl-show trifecta. i think amy's friend may be the ghost girl from being human?
