For a brief moment after Kana mentions how entertainers need double locks for "weird fans" you can see Ruby looking down, thinking about her mother. The same thing happens later in the episode when Memcho says that the filming location will be Miyazaki, where she spent basically all of her first life trapped in a hospital. Ruby's usually a very cheerful girl, but I love how often you get little reminders that she too has a lot of things to work through. We're following Aqua, but she also went through something just as tragic.
