Here we are at about the 40% mark on the piece! We've got about 12 more coffees to go on this one before it's time to post it!
The layers here are all transparent washes over the drawing. Mostly multiply and color dodge at this point with a little screen on top. Still shooting to have the finished...

For the brushes I created, I ended up using Jagged Chalk for the wings, and werebat fur for much of the fur and cloth. I also used the mixer brush at the end to make some of the blending between light and shadow areas feel more natural.
