Hi Thanks for the comment. I think there's no option to turn subtitles on or off as a creator. I thought subtitles need some time to be created. Have you tried checking on an old vlog if there are subtitles?

2025-12-03 17:09:07 +0000 UTCHello Master! I am coming to you with a non-professional request. Please turn on subtitles for your videos. :) I admit, I don't know how to do this. I can only show you one example, I've seen this on several videos on the "North to Alaska" channel. Why is this important? Unfortunately, YT doesn't do automatic translation. Countless viewers have been suffering from it for months, especially hard-of-hearing and deaf people. And those who are uneducated like me. Google's error handling sometimes works, but more often than not. If I sometimes manage to turn on subtitle translation, without YT premium, the subtitles disappear after the first commercial and I have to start switching from the beginning. There is no such problem with premium. (I have several accounts) I hope this is not a big request, because I admit, I know nothing about how this works. I know that for any video that has this turned on, it also turns on subtitles in your own language. In my case, it's Hungarian. Although I understand quite a lot of things in English, a few words still surprise me. Fortunately, technical English is not far from my grasp, so your channel is one of the easier ones to understand for me. Thank you for the videos so far and the hard work you've put into them.

Oh and it also is such great news that you get to do so much of the work yourself. I'm more excited about watching your engine rebuild than I am for Christmas morning, hahahahaha. Have FUN :D
