MotU have a very strange copyright situation, were Mattel (The toymaker) and Filmation (the TV studio) both have rights over the story and characters, so for example since the new HeMan is backed by Mattel, they can use all the toy characters, since the toy series was cancel before the Queen figure was released, she is exclusive to Filmation. So Mattel shows can use all the toys, and Filmation all the TV characters, so she could come back in shows that use Filmation Copyright.
