2022-12-11 16:19:05 +0000 UTCThat's Tom Cruise's plane that he's working on and flying at the end. 5 of the 6 actors threw up almost every day they were doing the aerial work. Also, those sequences were so expensive that the actors had their own mounted cameras and had to do their own makeup touch up work in between because it would have cost too much to continually be landing and taking off. The footage couldn't be reviewed until the end of the day when they came back down. If they messed up or flubbed a line it was their responsibility to know it, own it and do it again while they were still up. Also they had to go through a 6 week training to physically prepare for the rigors of the aerial shots. Tom Cruise wrote the training plan. He was adamant that there be actual real in cockpit aerial filming or he wasn't going to do it and wouldn't have his name associated with it. This movie was his baby and it was masterful.
