JLoween is almost here!!!

Starting October 3rd on Youtube (and next Monday the 26th on Patreon), we're going to have our first month long horror celebration, much to JL's chagrin. 13 uploads and 13 horror films, although some are admittedly lighter in tone, so JL survives October and makes it to November.
We've got the Monday and Wednesday movies pretty much locked in, and there's gonna be weekly polls that Youtube will pick elimination style for each Friday throughout October, and the winners of each poll will be picked over here on patreon. Subgenres that will be voted on will include Zombie movies, Vampire movies, Slasher movies, and Supernatural/Paranormal movies.
Hope everybody is ready and looking forward to it, as it's gonna be a really fun month. Well, for us, anyway. JL is about to be miserable. But if seeing him jump and gag are your thing, you don't want to miss JLoween!

And "Big Ass Spider!" I'm not usually a fan of horror-comedies, but that one (and "Tucker and Dale") are so effin' fun!

It’s our first Halloween season as a channel, and we’re taking full advantage. That’s the main reason we haven’t been doing much horror in quite a while. And even if you don't want to see a month of horror, plenty do. Almost all of these movies have been requested for months repeatedly.

2022-09-19 19:36:18 +0000 UTCJust want to put out there there the idea of NOT doing all scary movies for October in honor or Halloween. You do realize that EVERY SINGLE REACTOR is doing this? We, the audience, generally all follow numerous reactors, both for more quantity of reactions and for VARIETY. While a horror reaction now and then can be fun, I dread the thought of having nothing but horror reactions by every reactor I follow for a whole month. BORING. And I know I cannot be alone in this. I mean, how many Nightmare on Elm Street reactions do you think we want to see in one month? I'm not saying to ignore Halloween entirely, but doing one anti-Halloween, non-horror movie were week would actually really stand out from the flood of horror reactions. It would give us reactors a nice respite from the deluge of horror reactions, and probably drive more traffic to your channel because of all the people out there, like me, who like reaction videos but don't want to see nothing but horror reactions by every reactor for a whole damn month. Thx.

2022-09-19 16:04:32 +0000 UTCBeing partial to really good creepy/haunting horror movies over slasher/gore horror movies, I would HIGHLY recommend "The Boy" (2016), "The Changeling" (1980), "Insidious" (2010) & "Insidious 2" (2013), "Paranormal Activity" (2007), "The Amityville Horror" (1979), "The Omen" (1976) or -- as if ventriloquist dummies weren't already creepy enough -- "Dead Silence" (2007).
