So glad you enjoyed this! It's a fun, underrated little gem of a film. You asked why they were giving the dog a raw egg - it's amazing for their skin and coat. (Retired dog trainer here.)

Between GREMLINS, EXPLORERS, BURY8NG THE EX, this is my favorite Joe Dante flick. "Zee-ro defects."

So many movies were like dreams when I was younger. You just show me whats happening, and 'yep, that all makes sense' whereas having grown up... What the fuck was going on from 1960-1990?? Well, i mean, you said it (sidenote, my eom hoodie came in and it is great)

for Alice and wonderland your best bet that I know of is THe old Disney cartoon movie from the 50's [ the newer live action movie with johnny depp is more of a follow up and you will miss a lot if you don't know the story.]

This is definitely a Cocaine Cabinet Collection movie lol

This was one of my favorite movies, I've only seen it once, as a kid, but remember it fondly... What service is it on?

I'm so happy that you enjoyed this bit of '80s fun. There's a time for films to take themselves and their subject matter seriously and there's a time to sit back and enjoy the ride. we know what category this film falls into. This film is sadly under appreciated and almost unknown on YouTube's reactorverse I'm a little surprised you didn't pick up on Meg Ryan's name at the the start. She was easily the biggest name attached to the film when it came out and was a fixture in Hollywood for decades. I might have to sponsor another of her films someday. Victor Skrimshaw (the bad guy in white) was played by Kevin McCarthy, If his particular flavor of comedic villainy is of interest to you then I can only suggest that you watch UHF (1989). It's not a member of the Cocaine Cabinet simply because they didn't have the budget for it. It's just pure, all natural, "did they REALLY do THAT!?" insanity. What do we think people? Thumbs up or thumbs down on UHF?

Whoa! Stellar!
Always felt bad for the Cowboy when he's so happy to see Martin Short bust into his room.

This is one of those movies I always forget about until someone mentions it. What an awesome movie. Always thought they should have tried a sequel.. they worked well together
