2022-12-31 03:45:48 +0000 UTCZorro actually came first he is the inspiration for batman- the character played by Anthony Hopkins would actually be bruce Wayne - so Antonio's character would be more like dick Grayson aka robin taking over the mask. The TV show you might be thinking of could be the one that was on the disney channel a lot I remember this as a kid in the 80's it was an older black-and-white show from the 50's i think but I use to watch it a lot on the Disney channel. Most movies and TV shows focus on the character played by anthony hopkins. also Zorro mean FOX in spanish.

2022-12-31 02:42:21 +0000 UTCThe pettiness is strong in this film. I've loved this since I saw it in theater and it pleases me to share it with you. It really reminds me of the better "high adventure" Indiana Jones flicks. The same grand action scenes mixed with humor that don't really stand up to logic. The same intrepid hero fighting the forces of evil with knowledge and wit. It just works on so many levels. You've commented on the comparison between Zorro and Batman. The character of Zorro predates Batman by several years and the character of Batman was heavily inspired by Zorro. In some versions of Batman lore, Bruce's parents were killed after attending a Zorro film.
