Schedule/Poll Update for this Week

I had to cancel the poll for this week early, since there are only two options even close to winning, but we need to do them both now. Next week is all sequels, and we want to stick to that, but our First Blood video has been hit with a copyright claim for the second time in a week, which we will have to redo and put up yet again sometime down the road. And it's the same European distribution company claiming it that gave me a dozen problems with Count of Monte Cristo months ago. So, because of this, I'm gonna pull the plug on Rambo 2 for next week, just because we can't risk another issue at the moment. So, now, Ghostbusters 2 will take Rambo 2's place on Monday, and Beverly Hills Cop 2 will go up on Friday next week.
Apologies in advance, but we really didn't have a choice, and now at least most of the poll voters will get their pick. Never really want to use two off of one poll, but we are kind of being forced to. We'll do our best to figure our First Blood and either get it cleared or re-edited and back up at some point, and we'll still try to do that sequel down the road. But for now, it'll be Ghostbusters 2, Saw 2, and Beverly Hills Cop 2 next week. I'll get a new poll back up Monday as usual as well.

No apologies necessary at all. We are all so glad to have any reactions to view, regardless of the movie. I imagine there are a lot of other obstacles that you deal with that we don't even know about. You do whatever you need to do, to keep this channel up and off the radar of the copyright police. ;)

2023-03-31 16:31:07 +0000 UTCi would be very curious to know the difference in a before and after on one of your reuploads. generally I don't notice the difference between the first upload and a reupload so i can't imagine that its much at all. lots of aggrevation and time for not a lot of difference, imo.

2023-03-31 15:57:05 +0000 UTCI think the editing has a lot to do with it. Seems most of the time if you clip audio and video clips enough, they'll get pat the YT system for copyrights. But these late ones are usually someone with the rights trying to cash in. Makes no sense to us either, but we have been extremely lucky for the most part with it. So we can't complain too much especially seeing what other reactors go thru with it.

2023-03-31 15:51:22 +0000 UTCSad part is, it's not even Paramount. It's StudioCanal, which appears to be a European (French, I think?) distribution company. They've given us headaches before, so I can't say I'm too shocked. Definitely makes me cautious to go ahead with the rest of the Rambo series, but we may try to do it later on and see what happens.

2023-03-31 15:50:50 +0000 UTCyou don't ever have to say sorry to us, we understand completely. it's a very imperfect system to deal with, and "system" is probably a kind description. first blood is a particularly difficult video to keep up without paramount saying "no no no". cinebinge and dasha had their first blood reaction up for months before they were blocked. cinebinge reuploaded months after and it stayed up maybe a week or two, but definitely not long. cinebinge gave up after the second block.
