2023-04-22 04:02:21 +0000 UTCThere use to be a traveling museum of Titanic I saw it when it was set up at the pyramid in Memphis. Lots of artifacts and they had one room set up like you were on the bow of the ship looking out into the night with a 6 ft modal of the ship that you were also looking down they had the room temperature set as cold as it was that night. I can't really put words to what it felt like.

The story on the older couple is based on Sidor and Ida Straus, first-class passengers who chose to die together on the ship. the wife was already on a lifeboat her husband was offered a spot but refused as long as there were women and kids on board, and his wife got out of the lifeboat to die with him

I have also read that if the boat had stayed strait and hit the ice head on it would not have gone down, it would have grounded on the ice. turning allowed the ice to unzip the side a long narrow crack. good film though I have only seen it through 1 time in the theater when it came out.

But that runtime coupled with its track record on other channels doesn't justify the time it will take me to edit it at the moment. But I will keep it on the list to edit and try to get to it. And he has not seen True Lies yet, but it's coming up in a couple of weeks. Early May if I remember correctly.

2023-04-15 18:14:17 +0000 UTCj has now seen all 3 films with 11 academy awards too bad only 2 seem to be headed for youtube. The first film to do it would probably have 12 but there was a dispute over who got the writer credit on the film so it did not win best-adapted screen play it did win Charlton Heston his best actor award I think j has seen 3 films now with him in it counting tombstone and true lies? or has he not seen that one yet, the guy with the eye patch.
