Favor to Ask.....(some suggestions needed from the family)

J has a favor to ask regarding some of your favorite things he's said and some of his favorite lines and such.

Comments

I love hearing about the doggies! ''Deaths petty'' - I love that lol and Lord of the rings. ''Boil 'em, mash 'em, stick 'em in a stew.'' I know Sam says it, but when you realised where the line came from? It was hilarious lol. J meme of it! Lord of the ring's is my fav reaction! Stories are always fun - personal wise too :) BTW? I also missed doing creative stuff, I've found fun again doing diamond art kits. Just done my son a pretty good one of the Joker. You can even have them done personalized picture wise, they're actually fun to do :) I hope you pick up writing again though, sounds very interesting.

☻Shell🎔⋆˚🐾˖°

I'm late / behind on some of these chill, chat videos, so just getting caught up. But I'm loving them! Also hell yeah Meijer Fruit Punch is the shit. I also really like the watermelon one.

Gromsky

"SHUT THE BLANK UP"

Jacob Harris

I like when you say, "fuck this movie!" because the scene makes you emotional or "this movie fucking w/ my emotions." Or you'll say, "We can add this movie to the I ain't watching this shit again list." 🤣You said that about Saving Private Ryan and The Green Mile. Then you got the movies you just wanna bury like The Exorcist. Said it's fuck this movie because it's disturbing, uncomfortable and you had to shower w/ your clothes on after watching it. Had me cracking up! 🤣

Crystal Foster

“Listen…”

Steven F

I just farted

Robin Ann Weber

He/she nice with it

Robin Ann Weber

I haven't seen that reaction yet but I'm about to riiiiight nowww!🎬

CinWin

Oh, another one of my favorite JL lines: "This is about to be so wonderfully ignorant".

CinWin

I wish we could make a shirt with a screenshot of the look on J’s face at the end of watching Mulholland Drive

Al Mason

First of all congratulations on surpassing 5 million views! And almost at 49k subscribers now 2nd I remembered another line you said during joker about the fat woman on the bus "I'll tell you what I'll take a twinkie out my pocket and step on it right in front of her!! Lol

Robin Ann Weber

I've got to pick STFU, because you use it for a wide range of situations.

GomezAddams

I lovef when you said in signs call the police? You need to call u haul!! Lol of course ranks for playing I love. I also love when the co pilots steal the spotlight like in "it" when rom runs iffy the bed barking during the sink scene and when doggone comes up behind you in aliens I think and in the outcome of silence of the lambs when you see rom doing weird stuff and you Saud see Hannibal got my dog doing crazy shit. And drogo during silence of the lambs when you start singing take me home west Virginia he comes up and stares right in your face! And your quotes l love are man fuxk this movie! And telling us kiss my ass I know you're laughing and in your outlook of the exorcist you said you were gonna get some ice cream and sit I'm the church parking lot and think about life great one. And "my stomach is bubbling " and in closing I would love you to watch the big chill its about friends gathering after their friends funeral talking about life and the best part is the great music best soundtrack of all ty jl for making my days better ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Robin Ann Weber

Everything you said at the end of Gremlins 2 had me cracking up! 🤣

Jennifer & Natalie

“Ey this mfer aint sh*t” “Shut the f*ck up” “They key to the plot” “Eww You nasty b*tch” “You stank b*tch” (think i heard this once in Godfather II) and everything he said to describe Liam Neeson in Taken.

Jose Salgado

I haven’t watched the video yet, but if you’re looking for new marketing materials, a shirt that says “As you can see, I’ve got my copilots with me” and a picture of the babies would be super cute.

Tracy Hurdle

Cocaine cabinet 👃😆

JooYoung Choi

“He died of ay hay hayds”!

Steve Adoniz

Tropic Thunder: "He beat the Simple Jack outta' him". Rocky 2: "He Chasin' a Chicken in Chucks" No Country For Old Men: "Shoot him in the face and give him a fade". Titanic: "If you don't love me like Rose, I don't want it". Ferris Bueller: "Oh, he talkin' to us" (It cracks me up when he suddenly realizes it) -----OTHER JL COMMENTS----- "I ain't cultured but I got taste" "He on that Pepe le Pew $hit" "Oh, they about that life!" "I love everything about this movie...but I'm never watching it again".

CinWin

OMG...I love reading everybody's responses. I'm cracking up all over again🤣

CinWin

“STOP! SHOWING IT!” Is definitely one of my favorites :-)

Hot Indie Media

Quite honestly, J, it's difficult to rank your quotes to say what are favorites, as they're so authentic and in the moment, they're all gold. "Shut up" when you get scared..... that always gets a laugh out of me. Every time you reference Detroit, makes me laugh. My two favorite moments aren't even quotes ~ when you stop and just stare into the camera..... that just gets me every time (I was a huge George Burns fan growing up, and you're the only person I know since him and Jack Benny that does that so well). But when you go completely speechless, pause the video, and want to say something, but the words just don't come out ~ that gets me rolling on the floor. Pointing out characters' attitudes and behaviors that "ain't shit" ~ obviously a classic. Recently you made a Harvey Weinstein reference with Jeff Goldblum's Malcolm character from Jurassic Park that made me laugh. Then of course are the "I would have peed myself" comments, if we had a dollar for every time you've stated that in scary movies. LOL Seriously J, you just being yourself makes for a fun time no matter what the movie. You're just a fun person to be around.

Tim D.

Shut up. Shut the f up. Thanks for playing!

evanirvana500

"Oh he dead folk"

SultanOfSwing

LMAO...I forgot about Danny Glover's knees. That was friggin' hilaaariousss!

CinWin

"Key to the plot" is always his unique reference to body parts, which hilarious.

CinWin

Ok, some of my favorite JL terms/phrases that can be heard in many of his reviews are: "Listen..." "Toxic!" "...built different" "... key to the plot!" "Shooters shoot" "Ohhhh, the DISRESPECT!" "He a WHOLE asshole --or -- "He a menace!" "She's wasty pants" ---and of course--- "Thanks for playin'!"

CinWin

I understand, its just weird seeing J on my phone instead of my tv.

Big Frank

No need. No copyright checks needed and there won’t be enough of them to where it’s convenient to host them from another site.

Blank EOM

My favorite thing of J is when he pauses the video and explains to the camera how fuc... up the previous scene was!!!

Big Frank

Quick question... Why are the internal videos not hosted on YouTube?

Big Frank

Hi all newly joined JL's patreon because his recent reaction to Batman 89' and Jurassic Park were so good and so funny that I just had to bite the bullet and join. What I love is when JL deadpans the camera and speaks his mind. His whole reaction to Batman having guns, bombs, and killing people in that reaction had me rolling with laughter. Plus his astonishment that so many of us watched Jurassic Park as kids. Of course every time he jumps at a "scary" bit, gets me every time.

Dernhelm

Or when you jump and say. " shut up. Shut up." LOL. Gets me every time.

Marlen Garling

My is " ooo shut the f**k up. I didn't ( actor name) is in this ".

Marlen Garling

“I’m over here Mini-Farting” and “Chilly Willy” from Insidious reaction. “Cocaine Cabinet Collection” from Demolition Man. “And y’all watched this as kids?!?!?” from Jurassic Park. “Danny Glover’s knees” from multiple reactions including True Lies.

Mike Melfa

There’s a website called PEANUT BUTTER GANG BANG 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

CatsandCrafts

When he references Detroit or the Detroit Lions. That gets me rolling every time. 🤣

Fernando

OK, I know right now that I’ll need to answer this question in several posts because there are so many moments and quotes that are my favorite, but this is my all-time topper. Team America: World Police (2004). J’s reaction from 24:06 to 25:30 always makes me laugh so hard that I almost either pass out or fart. https://youtu.be/Jxqaq9thaII

Hot Indie Media

Ok, I'm too tired to remember my favorite lines right now but the good news is, I almost always add comments, either on Patreon or YT, quoting the lines that made me LMAO. I'll have to go back and search for them but I know there's a good bunch of JL originals (to me anyway). Stay tuned...(probably this weekend).

CinWin

"Hitler do not have time to be watchin' movies." - Inglorious Basterds

skitz

I don't remember quotes I will say my favorite wrap-ups are from movies i have sponsored. Sponsoring them makes it more personal I guess when the movie is one of my top-tier films. Ben Hur with the way it affected you, , superman the Movie, and John Wayne's True Grit are my favorites the only one i haven't liked was Superman 2 since it was somewhat negative to the Reeve Superman, and with what Superman means to my childhood i took it personally. I was even plotting revenge with a movie to sponsor that i think would pack more punch than anything you have seen today. you would rewatch Titanic and green mile both before this one. I am nowhere near as emotional i haven't cried in a movie since i was a kid. I can watch saving private Ryan easily. but i rewatched the ben hur ending and did some praying and decided not to do that movie. [doesn't mean i won't do it at some point but it is way down the list. it is an academy award-winning film,] I don't cry but things that make me emotional have to hit the nostalgia buttons. Like the 1st Transformers movie when Optimus Prime transforms for the first time. Or the John Wayne fill-your-fist scene from True Grit when he whirls his rifle and the music hits, its like Superman opening his Shirt. It is my favorite film and favorite movie Scene of all time. the same scene in the newer movie is my most hated scene, it's like i am seeing the mermaid man from sponge bob rooster. it hurts my soul to watch it. I went blank on what else i was gonna say so i will just close out for now.

frost1977

That makes sense. Got it!

Mike Melfa

I would love to do that but my schedule don’t really give me the time to do it. One reason I never really sat down and went live on YouTube

JL

I think a live Q&A with the Patreon crowd would be better than these recorded chats. That way we can ask questions and interact directly.

Mike Melfa

I love how when you bleep out a swear word, you cover your mouth with something from the movie. Like for "Se7en", it was a box🤣. And I LOVE how you interact with the dogs.

Deanna T.

Never let anyone stifle your creativity. I've been drawing since I was super young and I play guitar now too. If you do write down your books you I'm sure we'd all love a copy

Beardo2517

I've always loved Thanks for playing, you nasty bitch and sniff the dirt dude. The Jaws crabs line was great and the velociraptor hawked down bit

Beardo2517

Was just about to say the same thing

Beardo2517

OMG! I just watched and I am in pain from laughing. I did NOT think the meaning of Murder Whistle was from THAT!! Jesus you are too funny.

Itss_NattyJ

One of my favorites is anytime J calls out toxic men and calls them Bill or Weinstein. I just recently watched his Gremlins and Gremlins 2 reactions and almost died from laughing so much....there are so many funny comments in those two reactions alone. There's a reason he added them to the Cocaine Cabinet. I'm still laughing at J exclaiming, "We got a CARDI-B Gremlin? Oh, she about to TAKE the d**k!" 😩😂 But at the end of Gremlins 2 he says " We shoulda won."...I was done ("we" meaning we're Team Gremlin). 💀

Itss_NattyJ

JAWS: “I don’t even swim that good, but let him eat one of my dogs - I swear I’ll turn into Aquaman.”

kakophony

Cabin in the Woods, unicorn scene: “I thought they was magical friendly creatures…?”

kakophony

For clarification on the suggestion for the music channel. I believe nothing beats hearing a good song for the first time. And you could be real about it. You either feel it or you don’t. There are lotta good 80s songs for example that you probably haven’t heard that I know you would like.

Zachary Zabayle

My favorite quote is shut the f*ck up.

Zachary Zabayle

I want to send you guys a couple of shirts. What are your sizes?

Zachary Zabayle

If you live in an apartment complex and have no control over the landscaping, you can also get small mint plants and put them in your home near windows and your front door, anyplace where gnats my get in. They hate the smell of mint and will fly away. Also, citronella plants indoors as well if you can handle the strong smell. I personally use mint plants myself. Been gnat free for a couple of years now since getting mint in my home. :) Most insects hate mint, especially gnats, flies, stinging bugs, etc.

Echo Moon

American History X. About 24 minutes in or so is the Genesis of the MW. LoL

Blank EOM

Check out his American History X reaction on Youtube. Go about 24 minutes in. It's WAY better than me telling you. LoL

Blank EOM

Pet Sematary: “ So what was your game plan if he came back normal!?!” or Child’s Play at the end where the mom shoots straight down at the floor “she didn’t give a fk about the neighbors below her, did she!?” So many but those come to mind first.

Robert Sackrider

Many thanks

T.J. Gengler

As far as my favorite lines though, “She got crabs.” from JAWS still cracks me up.

T.J. Gengler

rolling, couldn't catch my breath..

Ryder77

Wait, wait, wait..You're telling me that your daddy swayed your savant to shit..for sports? Not that there's anything wrong with sports, I played everything available straight through college. But I adore artist expression in any fashion, hence, watching you do your thing. Speaking of, your opinion on chihuahua's and cats had me

Ryder77

Blank is killing it on the editing. Makes me think of Samuel L Jackson in the old memory intro to Eddie Murphy’s Raw: ‘That boys got talent!’ https://youtu.be/11UWMsowL8I

ChickensAreRacist

Yes! Talking like this make for some welcome videos. We’re on your Patreon, so we clearly like you. There was something I saw you say last night from your reaction to the Fugitive and damn I laughed hard. Sadly I can’t remember what it was. Edit: oh man you talking about MarioKart as if you’d be able to beat me! Haha, indubitably no. Would like to see you play one or both of the latest Zelda games tho.

ChickensAreRacist

Thanks for playing, and Eww, you nasty bitch lol and so many I can't recall until I'm laughing enjoying a video.

LeSheezy

There are so many great quotes to choose from but I think my favorite was your reaction after the ridiculous 50-ft bus jump in Speed: "I'm telling you right now, If I put a bomb on a bus and I'm watching the news and see THAT happen... I'm blowing the bus up anyway." Love these hangout videos for the Patrons, definitely down for more. And you should totally take up writing! I wrote plays and short stories all through my teen years, then quit in my twenties and severely regretted it. Went back to it five years ago and now in my thirties so far I've completed three original feature film scripts and four fan fiction scripts (X-Men, Bond, Frankenstein, and a sequel to the Matt Reeves Batman film with Court of Owls and Mad Hatter as villains lol), and I must say the act/process of writing has greatly improved my quality of life. Thanks again for all the time you and Blank devote to this channel, your hard work is very much appreciated.

Chris Gaitan

American History X reaction about 20 mins in

JL

Lol every year when they start to “care” for the bushes it’s just a hoard of gnats flying around them

JL

I *would* enjoy more of these videos, JL. But I would prefer more of them that are shorter, rather than less that are longer. I only got 8 minutes into this (so far) and I gotta go back to work. BUT I plan on listening to the rest while I clean my kitchen tonight. You do you, of course. If these longer ones are what ya feel, by all means. Keep on. You're so damned charming - a video of you shopping at the grocery store'd be better than 90%+ of YouTubes content.

g g gooding

American History X it’s about 20 mins in

JL

I'm also curious where "murder whistle" comes from. I like "Shut The F up". Calling your babies "co-pilots". How certain scenes are ""key to the plot". Other patrons will list many others. You constantly come up with phrases that make me chuckle. Keep up the good work and go ahead and write those books. I'd be interested in looking at them.

William Bilske

“Thanks for playin’” also my favorite scene is in Nobody. Call of Duty! We need that in Call of Duty! Let us put a claymore on a riot shield!

VvNeo2000vV

For the bug problem, lavender, rosemary & citronella bushes help with keeping bugs away. As for my favorite sayings from you, "thanks for playing" & "shut up" are all I can think of right now, but I'll post more if I think of them. 😁

Kara Davis

I've been wondering the same thing.

Thoma

I’d just like an explanation of where “murder whistle” comes from. I remember it comes from a specific reaction to a certain scene from some film which I can’t recall. Where did you first use the term and to what film’s scene were you referring?

T.J. Gengler

"Shut the F up"

Miss Gigglebox

One fav line... "Oh, the bus didn't go where you're from."

Parker Auburn

There is so much that reminds me of my upbringing as a child from Chicago with parents who migrated from the South: I love "I know he stinks", and "Shut up", just to name a few. Keep doing your thing bruh, love you.
