You should check out the very little seen and excellent Peter Pan from 2003 I think....... with Lucius Malfoy..beautiful and great soundtrack and a forgotten classic.

2023-06-28 03:18:41 +0000 UTCa lot of older western and adventure movies have shots just as beautiful as war movies. think about some of the shots in the 2 john wayne films so far, and especially once we get to the directed by john ford john wayne movies.

2023-06-28 01:37:47 +0000 UTCthey fight the way they do back then for 2 reasons, 1 Western army had a sort of honor code, such as mercy for surrendering troops. The other is the main weapon used by armies was muskets, the barrel of a musket for those who don't know is smooth the bullet comes out like a knuckleball it wobbles you could hit something size of a basketball at 50 feet ok but at 100 yards you would be lucky to hit something the size of a small car. Think of a musket as a spear that can shoot. You had to use that volley fire in lines to hit anything. One thing that gave the US militia, a plus is a lot of them had Rifles. rifle have grooves in the barrel that spin the bullet. and make it fly smoother and a lot more accurately at 200 yards plus they used those hit-and-run tactics. The biggest advantage the US had is that it Was God's will for America to be a nation where people were free to worship him. There are stories [not taught in schools] about George Washington taking long walks in the woods praying to call on Jesus for help and guidance and today most of the gospel that goes out to the world comes out of the US. don't mean to preach but it's a fact ,and when i get on these teaching things to answer a question things like that are just gonna come out sometimes.
