2023 Week 28 Poll: Movies that Need More Reactions!!!

What is up, heathens.   Another week, another EOM poll to consider.  Essentially like last week, this is mostly a list of movies that  need to have more reactions to them.    These are always difficult to pick (since there is really nothing to go on), so hopefully we get a winner out of this one.   We'll def try to do more of these "movies that need more reaction" polls as we go, since that seems to be one of the more popular ones you guys like to vote on.    So keep dropping suggestions for more movies that need more reactions in the comments, an LIKE the ones you agree with, and we'll try to get another list for the next one.    So, let's get those votes in and see what is gonna make it to the channel.  Good luck!!!

Dante's Peak is on here already. Plane crash movies could almost be their own separate poll.

frost1977

Alive The Day After Tomorrow Dante's Peak The Poseidon Adventure

CinWin

Oh San Andreas with the rock- that is the only good one with an earthquake. Sadly most disaster movies tend to be, bad movies.

frost1977

Yes, it is great Kim. LOL

Chris Baldwin

I thought of more lol

Kim

Towering Inferno, Volcano, twister, the day after tomorrow. the posiden adventure- the original with Gene Hackman [much better and more intense than the remake.] Deepwater Horizon, Most of the best natural disaster films i know of are all older films. though 2 of these are fires caused by people being foolish. with deepwater horizon being a true story.

frost1977

Drop suggestions here, to see what options we may have. I know we had Twister on a poll already. What else does everyone think could be options.

Blank EOM

need a disaster movie poll.

frost1977

Isn’t it great lol 😆

Kim

I agree with Kim on "Paul", with Simon Pegg. Only a couple that are under reacted to would be "Collateral" and "The Angriest Man in Brooklyn". If they don't make a poll, I guess I'll have to choose them in the coming month's. Sorry Blank. These are all I want to promote. I believe in taking baby step's. LOL

Chris Baldwin

When you mentioned 'ones that dont get many reactions', I started going thru more in depth. And most are ones I havnt found in my own searches. Mind you, I dont do this everyday either. Thats how I found y'all. Detroit Love Story(True Romance). That doesnt get many. Anyways, peace and love all. Im gonna go diggin for somethin to watch!

pkleo73

Would love to see a reaction to 1408. As a huge fan of the stories author, (not trying to spoil that for JL unless it already has been spoiled) this is definitely one of the better film adaptations of his work.

Dernhelm

I can say glancing at this, MOST of these are def on the watch list. I do know X-Men, Blade, and Dogma he's seen. MAYBE on Inception, The Mummy, and 1-2 more that I don't remember if e's seen or not. Lost Boys is already on the channel (had to reupload it in November, IIRC), and a few of these are on the schedule relatively soon. Have to check, but I know Weird Science, Police Academy, Something About Mary, Roadhouse, Dazed and Confused, and Armageddon I THINK are all in the next few months. Fallen (98) is actually coming as a patreon this month as well as someone just purchased it for him to watch. By all means, drop suggestions anytime. I'll go thru them all. LoL. Just make sure to leave a new comment so I know I'll see it. Replies don't send notifications, but new comments do. So drop as many as you like. But DEF will be getting to 95% of that list, it'll just take us a while. LoL

Dont hate on the long post. lol

pkleo73

If anyone gives a hoot: Desperado is *heavily* inspired by Django (1966).

g g gooding

1408 is a good choice. Another good John Cusack film that gets overlooked is the 80s comedy “One Crazy Summer”. I think the John Candy film “Summer Rental” could use more reactions too.

Jeff B.

Aww, I'm sad Sideways isnt going to win! I do really hope you guys get around to it. It's a GREAT film with a GREAT cast. Hope everyone's havin a chill day. Stay cool, my friends 👍

frost1977

Ghost Dog! Love that movie!

phil v

Sideways is far and away the best film of this list but desperado is a better time imo.

I am the walrus

It’ll be here in July as a patreon pick.

Blank EOM

Dude! You put DESPERADO on a list with these other fine films. The other movies are fine, but DESPERADO already won this poll before you completed it.

Philip Davetas

Out of these, I went with 1408. Great film and Im a big Cusack fan \m/

pkleo73

Rocky Dennis!!!!!!

Crypt0sis

this movie is epic...just a solid gut punch. Shreds a part of me everytime.

pkleo73

YES PLEASE!! I love this movie! Havnt seen it in sooo long. Great pic!

pkleo73

I voted for the fan, that movie is an underrated Wesley snipes/Robert De Niro movie. But I gotta tell ya I'm itching for JL to do the Equalizer especially since the third movie is coming out later this year

The SuntanSaiyan

Dammit! I missed it somehow. Imma have to watch it. Thanks J 😊

Kim

"Desperado" has my vote on this one! Directed by Robert Rodriguez with memorable performances by Antonio Banderas, Salma Hayek, Cheech Marin, Steve Buscemi, Quentin Tarantino, Danny Trejo to name a few

Hot Indie Media

Moneyball is here on patreon

JL

Harry and the Hendersons is here on patreon

JL

I'll vote for The Fan. Actually always liked that film. Mask (with Cher) Secret of My Success Lock Up Over the Top Sleepers Midnight Run Harry and the Hendersons

Jonathan Patrick

How about a reaction to Vanilla Sky? Tom Cruise and Kurt Russell... what could go wrong?

Trapper John

Happy to see Desperado and Sideways as the top two choices! Other underrated gems: - Life is Beautiful - Once Around - Honey, I Shrunk the Kids - One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest - Beetlejuice - Moonstruck - The Accused - One Hour Photo - Time Bandits

JPSillyBeast

Big yes to A Few Good Men and The King's Speech!

JPSillyBeast

I don't think J would do very well with The Serpent and the Rainbow. Which means he totally needs to watch it, of course. :)

JPSillyBeast

Sideways!! Haven’t seen that in years but have seen it so many times. Can’t wait for your reaction, whether it’s this time or another time.

ChickensAreRacist

Oh man, I’m torn about WHAT DREAMS MAY COME. Don’t get me wrong, I adore this work of art. It’s brilliant, visually stunning and takes us places most films never explore. It’s also a dark, heavy film with some legitimate nightmare fuel that still makes me weep for the pain. It’s a ride well worth taking but that doesn’t make it less of an emotional roller coaster.

T.J. Gengler

Sideways is one of my favorite movies! Highly recommend that

Jordan Murphy

Ohhhhh c’mon, Desperado…🔥 The 13th Warrior A Few Good Men Moneyball Dances With Wolves The King’s Speech Get Him to the Greek Mommie Dearest The Grand Budapest Hotel

Kim

Two movies I'd recommend are The Serpent and the Rainbow (1988) by Wes Craven and Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai (1999)

kbobravo

What Dreams May Come (1998) Robin Williams and a beautiful movie. On this list, I know Desperado will win so I voted for my second ... 1408

Rae Rae

1408 is so wildly underappreciated. If it wins just make sure you watch the theatrical version. The Director's cut adds in scenes that are unnecessary and that make the story drag. It also has a completely different ending that is honestly trash compare to the theatrical ending.

kbobravo

The Last Boy Scout (1991) Bruce Willis, Damon Wayans, written by Shane Black and directed by Tony Scott. Bruce Willis shoots people and smokes cigarettes. Nuff' said.

Steven Montano

SPACE TRUCKERS - I’m pretty sure Dennis Hopper was hauling a whole load of cocaine cabinets.

T.J. Gengler

"Law Abiding Citizen (2009)" Gerard Butler,Jamie Foxx 🔥🔥🔥🔥
