LOL I think it is awesome that after almost 40 years, Mel and Danny are still very good friends. I have read they still hang out together and consider each other as brothers. :) Sooo looking forward to Lethal Weapon 5! But... Danny is now 77 and Mel is 67. Danny Glover's knees are now so old they themselves have Danny Glover's knees! I haven't read what the 5th film is gonna be about but if they make old Danny Glover run...I can just hear the dogging he's gonna get from J. ;) Mel promised Richard Donner (lethal weapon director) that he would direct a 5th lethal weapon right before Richard died. Mel is a great director (Hacksaw Ridge, Braveheart, etc) so I hope he keeps that promise to direct LW5.

Up to that point he might have a fair shout - though I'd have a serious issue with him not being declared persona non grata long before it got to that - it's not as if the relationship was that good at that point anyway, state department wouldn't think twice about giving them all 24 hours to GFTO - and it doesn't stretch too far beyond the consul anyway. Iconic series of movies. NGL I think I like the fourth one best - don't sleep on the other sequels.
