As short and to the point as I can be here... J and Blank... Thank you so very much for this one. In my top best Drama's. I know it backward and forward. Seeing J react was amazing. Funny , and he was so into it. I won't bore anyone w/ trivia , etc here. If your a fan , the Special Edition DVD is packin like Dirk w/tons of stuff and great commentary tracks. And last , to try to explain my love for this film , I made a full custom chronological soundtrack for it. A total of 43 tracks in order. 2 are score. (i even have the full version of The Touch by Dirk. LMAO , So great ta hear Wahlberg sing so badly.) It took a while and was hard to find some tracks , but I am proud of it. I also made one's for Dazed And Confused , Reservoir Dogs (I made 2 versions. The 2nd has every song mentioned and played plus 2 unused bonus tracks.) , Christine , Goodfellas , and the Gem in the collection , The Blues Brothers. (Every track in order + dialogue between each track to denote scenes. It was the 1st non-horror film I saw over 100 times.lol Took me a long time to make and find the best versions of the songs.) Sorry for so much space , but watching your reaction , J , and the amazing work of you Blank and bangin movies make's being a Patron worth 10 times the price. Thanks for all you guys do. BTW If you would like a copy of any of them J or Blank for sure , just let me know. I love to share with like minded folks.

" I like simple pleasure's , like butter in my ass , and lollipops in my mouth. That's just me , that's just somethin I enjoy. Call me crazy , call me a pervert. " GRADE A dialogue. In the top 5 best lines in the movie. Great call : ]

That scene made me a fan of Jessie's Girl one of my favorite songs to listen to, to this day. I dunno if I had ever heard it before this movie but its been on every favorite mix "tape" of mine since. Dirks face and odd smile while its playing I always wonder what he is thinking in that moment is he contemplating his current absurd situation and finding it hilariously awful, or is he just in tune with the song and thinking of a girl...

The scene at the end in Rahad's house (Doc Ock), is definitely one of the more finely crafted scenes in cinema. The movie is technically brilliant throughout and a favorite, but that scene always sticks out to me. So many things are going on, and even the little ones, like Alfred Molina not flinching a single time, and the focus throughout, are excellent. The music of course is perfect as it is throughout the film, but when it shifts to 99 Luftballons, it seems like some kind of swan song for Todd like it's playing him out of the movie.

My pick and you are welcome 😊

Oh on a replay on the scene regarding "butter in my ass" look in the background at the blurry colonel on the sofa, he is busting up laughing. I still wonder if he was supposed to be or not. Makes me bust up laughing every time.

One of my top 5 favorite movies of all time. I've been waiting so long for this reaction and then i saw the poster for your November streams and I was like OMG yes.. lil did I know lmao you were going to blue ball me to the VERY END OF NOVEMBER :P This movies sound design is off the charts, whenever I want to show off my crazy speakers to anyone I use the opening of this movie to do so.

Man, if this movie doesn't have the best cinematography of any film ever, it's extremely high on the list. All the long, single-take shots are amazing. Crank is an older term for meth. When biker gangs were transporting meth, they would hide it in a motorcycles crankcase.

My stepmother rented this movie right after Blockbuster started carrying it. She went to work before returning it and I happened to stop by my dad's house (I was in my mid-20's, living in my own place). He asked if I wanted to watch "some movie called Boogie Nights" before it was due back at the store. He had no idea what it was about. I recalled seeing a preview for the movie on TV where some 70's looking girl was on roller-skates, and there was music. So I said, "Sure", because I thought it was going to be about roller disco. You know, like Xanadu. Folks, this movie is *not* about roller disco. My father and I both realized what it was *really* about, merely 10 minutes into the movie, and we entered into an unspoken game of chicken for the next 2+ hours: neither of us would look at the other, neither of us would speak, but neither of us wanted to be the first to run out of the room screaming in horror. We sat in total, horrified silence, watching this on an extra large big screen TV, which made that "money shot" at the end all the more excruciating. It was at that point, my father turned to me and asked, "Is that real?" Just when I thought the entire experience couldn't get any worse. (Like I'm Penis PhD or something? No, Dad, I don't have a Doctorate in Dicks.) I didn't know whether to be flattered or insulted. I guess, technically, I won that game of chicken. And I've been living with the PTSD ever since.

My gosh J was quite humbled at the end!!! (We all were 😆)

Big Frank

Oh yes! My favorite movies.

Years ago when my mom was still alive I would tape movies all day while at college and then mail the vhs to her because she did not have cable. This one just happened to be on there...needless to say I got a "talking to" about the content I sent her. LOL I was quite embarrassed.

Echo Moon

HahahahHahah!!!!!!
