2023 Week 41 Poll: Another of J's "I wanna watch that" Poll!!!

What is up peeps.   Not gonna lie, totally forgot to get a poll ready, so I told J to pick and a handful of movies he wants to watch, and let's get it.     STEP BROTHERS won the patreon picks poll, so well done, peeps.   Also, I added most of the movies you all suggested to the list/pool if they weren't in there, and some of the more supported ones, we'll try to get to sooner rather than later.    Def want to listen to what you guys suggest and vote for while still trying to keep them fresh.    Anyway, these are five of J's picks, so let's get those votes in, and as always, poll will run for a week.

*Also, Revenge of the Sith was supposed to be up this morning, but it crashed my laptop twice last night while exporting, so I'll get it exported and uploaded as soon as I finish and post Attack of the Clones for tonight's premiere.   Just a head's up.   AND, we're going to put up a poll on YT sometime this week that will pick the first Wednesday movie in October for the channel that'll be made up of patreon exclusives on here.  So look for that as well.

Oh man I hope we find "Silver Bullet" on the roster at some point because that movie is so underrated!

REALysticMystic

i have a suggestion for JLOween, i Just dont know where to put it. two movies that have traumatized my father when he was a kid. The howling 1981 and Silverbullet 1985. Dad and I love what yall do and Much love to the copilots

Mystic

I'm inclined to agree. I think it's a much watch on your own, but not necessarily for reaction. I've watched a couple to the support that channel but it wasn't a particularly enjoyable experience.

Tanesha H.

The Life of David Gale is SUCH an underrated movie.

Tanesha H.

Keeping my fingers crossed for β€œThe Fly” in October.

Jeff B.

Hunger Games!!!! Also, I have never heard of any of the above movies, so may the best one win.

Sunami Stelling

Can you react to the Hobbit trilogy, I loved watching you react to the Lord of the Rings.

John Brooks

I would love to see Wanderlust (Jennifer Aniston / Paul Rudd) on a list, and also The Life of David Gale :)

LeAnn Lawrence

Brother J, you really need to watch Mad Max: Fury Road (2015). :)

Echo Moon

Even Ice Cube calls Boyz a after school special. Children of men. Original story vision of our futute

Pittielove

Tales from the crypt he better than noys in the hood

Robin Ann Weber

30 years since Philadelphia was released great tom hanks and Denzel movie

Robin Ann Weber

I had to go for The Fighter (2010) because it's one of those "must see" Christian Bale performances.

Hot Indie Media

but has he seen Don't Be A Menace?

Mike

Drive ❀️🍿

CordlessRevamp

I got to watch some trailers for this one, i have only seen Boys and not doing that one. Edit: i think Drive or fighter. both look interesting off the trailers.

frost1977

Haven't seen all of these. I'm a fan of Drive but Children of Men is one of the very few movies I consider 10/10 in every aspect. I agree it's an underrated one for how well done it is.

JakJMK

lol, I was watching a podcast the other day that said, any black person who hadn't seen Coming to America should have their black card revoked. I only ever sat and watched that movie all the way through within the last couple years.

Renee S

Oh, I still give him hell. LoL. Have ever since I found out he never saw it. He saw Menace II Society, but never The Boyz.

Blank EOM

So it it's true, he hasn't seen it??!! HOW? 🀨

Itss_NattyJ

Philadelphia is a much tougher watch (imo). It's super heavy and their performances are so convincing and heartbreaking. Great movie, but up there with brilliant films that aren't much fun to watch someone else react to.

Itss_NattyJ

I refuse to believe Jay has not seen "Boyz n The Hood", but in the event he hasn't, that is my vote because it's a classic. After that, I choose "Drive" (because of Bryan Cranston and Oscar Isaac πŸ₯°), followed by "Children of Men".

Itss_NattyJ

Same

Kim

This is hard choice but Children of Men is an excellent movie and I haven't seen other reacters watch it. I am super excited about Step Brothers because that was one of my choices. I can't wait til JL watches it.

Miss Gigglebox

Ooooof that sucks. These are all awesome, but I've got to give a major shout out for getting The Fighter on there. Mark Wahlberg, Amy Adams crush it, but Christian Bale? He earned that Oscar for that role. It's second only to Rocky. I prefer it to raging bull.

Potato Jones

Ditto to all of this, especially considering I gave J a hard time about having never seen it. 🀣

Tanesha H.

Love Philadelphia but my vote this time went to Boyz in the Hood

The Notorious N.A.Z.

For me it’s either β€œBoys in the Hood” or the incredibly underrated β€œDrive”

Micheal Clark

Boyz n The Hood leading so far, but sometimes those that start quick out of the gate end up falling just behind, I guess we'll see πŸ™ƒ That one is a tough watch, pretty dark, but I think an important contribution from the late John Singleton.

Renee S

Lets go Boyz in the Hood!

Ashley

Children of Men is a criminally undervalued movie

Dean Minchin

Boys n hood is going to win hands down!!!

Big Frank

I concur with the comments here, Philadelphia I hope it is to be!

Cristina Marshal

Philadelphia! πŸ™ŒπŸΎ Denzel Washington & Tom hanks! Win win 😁

Biancalama

Gotta go with the Denzel/Hanks melancholy masterpiece.
