First Time Watching Crash!!!

Comments

This movie was so good. I love the story telling and how the stories intertwined. I haven't seen this in so long. I am rewatching along with you.

La Toya Sheri

Ok its been a long time since i have seen any of the PA films start to finish, the only 1 i remember much about was the first one, I just had it in my mind that is was one of those where they just tried to keep it going too long. Its like smokey and the bandit the first is great, the 2nd is OK, and i don't think burt even came back for the 3rd. though even bad movies have those who enjoy them, we all have out guilty pleasure movies that are legit bad but we get a kick out of watching them.

frost1977

wow. excellent! I was hoping you would do this one. This one took me by surprise. Hadnt heard of it, didnt see it coming. At a time in my life where I could have cared less about movies like this. Opened my eyes to a lot of shit that was way too real. Esp in my life at that moment. Loved it. Watch it like once a year. try and recommend to anyone to watch it. It hits. Thnx J. Glad you enjoyed it too

I LOVE this movie!!!!!!!!!!

Kelly Marshall

I will say this; the officer that just watched isn't really the source of the problem, the problem is that when those good officers speak up they end up fired and pretty much get blacklisted by any police union in America and some of them end up getting beaten. Honest police get fired to protect bad police, it's fucking terrible.

Charles Semon

Is this the theatrical or director's cut? weird that this movie even has a director's cut

kbobravo

Looking forward to Brokeback Mountain now that I know you'll be covering that one soon.

Renee S

you should watch cronenbergs crash(1996) Though good luck with a yt edit lmao. Great reaction as always

Zach McBride

Aye, fam. I got a GREAT suggestion for you. The Departrd is one of the greatest movies ever created. It has an mega allstar cast. You should react tonight. Trust me. You will love it!!!!

Lovaire Hawkins

That was a great reaction . Thank you JL and Blank!

Jonathan Patrick

Traffic is a pretty good film

CordlessRevamp

That was a good, hard, Murder Whistle reaction. Loved it.

ChickensAreRacist

lol, I wasn't saying it didn't win, I was saying it wasn't worthy of the win, the Oscars are a joke.

Renee S

I appreciate that. It's my pick lol I love this movie

Jonathan Patrick

Tbf, I only saw most of this, not all. Maybe it sticks the landing, I honesy don't know. I drifted away thinking that I liked Magnolia even more than I did before... I don't wanna be a cloud on a sunny day. Nuthin wrong with liking a thing. I LOVE many movies of questionable quality. This just oozed 101 oscar bait, unabashedly so imo. But, tbf: it weren't wrong bout that. šŸ¤— Credit where credit is due. šŸ†

this is one of those that would be hard to watch a 2nd time in the same way the Joker is hard to watch.

frost1977

According to some social media, my unpopular opinion is that I enjoy this movie. And I’m glad someone picked it.

ChickensAreRacist

I tried to revisit this movie last year and didn't get very far. Too much of the bulls**t was happening in real life and I just wasn't in the mood.

frost1977: I was kidding...Ive seen all 7. I seem to recall 3 being okay, but yeah...they just sewer deeper and deeper. The bad guy in 5 is Odo from DS9! 6 truly had a good ending, if nothing else. 7...exists. Yeah, they suck. BobCat turned down 4 because...because it was beneath him (yikes)...but Citizens on Patrol is a catchy song!

umm no they lol. the 1st PA is great and i liked the 2nd after they fall off a cliff. but i get some of these films with the same name can be tricky. Cronenberg's Crash is the one i think about when i see the name.

frost1977

lol, yeah, I wondered briefly on that as well, but I assumed it was going to be this one.

Renee S

Yeah, just proof of how the Oscars are a joke. This is not the Best Picture of 2004, Brokeback Mountain is.

Renee S

A minor ask, Blank. When yall post, could you include the flick's year? Based on obvious logic, I know this isn't Cronenberg's Crash...but a few other times I've been thrown off. If theres a reason you don't do that: cool; no worries. Not a medium deal, even. But, like, Evil Dead...well, thats a few films. Thankfully there's only one Police Academy! (wait...what's that, you say? There's 7?? Do they just keep getting better and BETTER and...? What's that, you say? Oh...oh, no. Dammit, Mahoney!)
