2024-10-14 04:32:30 +0000 UTCI didn't like Jason running. To me, Jason is far more scarier when he walks slow and still gets his kills. It felt like when he ran, it humanized him too much. I haven't seen this since it came out so I didn't remember any of it. It's not terrible but not the best either.

2024-10-13 19:47:53 +0000 UTCThis is the theatrical version. I'm not usually a fan of remakes however this one and Texas chainsaw (2003) are great! This version has points of some of the originals. Of course, the origin story & Mommy dying but also the hiker that's looking for his sister from part 4. Clay's character is based on that character. I love little connections like that.
