I have not watched this one in a long time so when i did now i realized just how stacked this movie is because of all the actors i seen in top tier movies and shows since.

Rangers are considered SOF in the army and essentially one of, if not the best, direct action force. They are fighters, just some dawgs. Special Forces (Green Berets) are more of a reconnaissance unit, they train a lot of foreign nations military. Delta is the highest it gets in the army, they recruit from Army and other branches SOF members. Any time a high ranking general or politician went anywhere in Afghanistan/Iraq, Delta was protecting them.
