I never quite got the allure of these movies. I'm all for nonsensical slashers but these are too much. They're way too tongue in cheek and over the top

2024-11-03 02:26:54 +0000 UTCNot sure why but this franchise never lived up to the hype for me. I think the stupidity of the victims reminds me too much of campy '80s slasher flicks. But I like those type of movies so that doesn't really explain it either lol. From a horror aspect this doesn't even crack the top 10 for me.

Because the way that it started by interviewing the Survivor and she stating he was dead had me thinking that he got angry by this and decided to go out and prove that he wasn't. I thought the events in the movie were a follow up to a massacre unseen. Because he was watching the broadcast interview before gearing up to go spread mayhem. I had read that Art was actually in 2 short films previous to this, (The 9th Circle and Terrifier (2011) both of which are included in the anthology film All Hallows Eve) and I thought that maybe she was a Survivor of 1 of those.

2024-10-29 19:45:59 +0000 UTCThis movie was a lot of fun, didn't know this was a movie but I'm glad I checked it out. Arts design was dope as fuck and the deaths were excellent. And the bitch getting split in half upsidedown was hands down the most gruesome death I've seen. You're intro had me worried that I wouldn't watch this again due to the grossness but after suffering through the human centipede I can say this was not as disgusting as that. I can definitely have this shit as a yearly watch during the fall season, human centipede was a one and done for me though. Anyways, I can't wait to see the 2nd one. Gonna get into that tomorrow.

Freddie got to me, but I was 10 when I saw the original Elm St. - so of course. I admire your bravery. These movies are rough. BUT SO AWESOMELY SCARY!!! I know what I’ll be watching tonight!
