So I just found out about the show Cybill, a Chuck Lorre show starring Cybill Shepherd post-Moonlighting, because my sister has been binge-ing (binging?) it. She was talking about all the guest stars on the show, I guess they could pull in some big talent because of Cybill’s star-power, and then she drops that Jonathan Frakes was on an episode playing himself! He basically wants to date Cybill and she’s not into it but he won’t get the hint, which I think is a hilarious send-up of Riker, the charming Casanova who seemingly has no problem getting dates. Perhaps you guys have already seen it but it’s worth a watch. Part two of this comment is that I’m going to LA soon (I’m in NYC now) and would love to get a Matt and Andy restaurant recommendation? What is your fave? Doesn’t have to be healthy, I’m open to going off the rails.

Also, in response to those that think you're both being too negative about Picard, I would like to wholeheartedly disagree. i think you're actually going out of you're way to find the positive. This show has had its moments but it also has BIG inconsistencies, to the point where I have to ask: if he wants to find Maddox, why can't he just hop on a passenger liner and go look for him? Also, as much as I love Hugh (third favourite character of all time in star trek, his episode always makes me cry) and the borg and the romulans don't need to be here. If a show is going to be this serialized then each episode needs to hold our attention on its own, and not simply be a lead up to the next one. Every episode so far has only gotten good in the last 5 seconds. Don't worry guys; neither of you is going crazy :)
