Command Codes Verified! FAQ for new officers

If you're a new member of our heroic and attractive Patreon crew, WELCOME ABOARD!  As our ranks have increased with apparently wonderful, smart, funny people, thought we'd start one of those old fangled FAQs.  It will only be a couple of items to start, but please feel free to hail us or post below if you have any suggestions and/or additional helpful information/adjustments to this welcome post (even the title) for issues that have been worked out or information you were confused by when you signed up which is now clear!  General problems/concerns you can hail us directly through our Patreon messages.   You have earned an eternal place in Sto'Vo'Kor for your support!

FAQ 

1. Where should I post comments/questions for each show for consideration to be read in upcoming podcasts?

You can post you comments/questions for each show as such: 

PRIORITY ONE MESSAGES for TNC TNG - post general/comments questions here on the recent episode specified on the title of the post.  Generally we only include commentary on the prior episode in our pods, but feel free to continue the discussion as you see fit!  Patreon members' comments/questions will be given higher priority than general hails to our email at sttncpod@gmail.com, and members of our President's Circle will be given even greater consideration, as well as being eligible for selection for a Christopher Pike Medal of Valor, which will put your hail even closer to the front of the Saucer Section at the top of our pod!  Also feel free to post general/non-episode specific comments on these posts. 

STAR TREK: DISCOVERY - (Lieutenant's level) under the post with our most recent podcast for Star Trek: Discovery, please post your general/comments questions beneath.

2. Matt & Andy keep saying if I want my name read correctly on the show, put a phonetic spelling right next to my name in my Patreon information.  Where do they mean??

To change your display name (to add phonetic translation or hilarity), go to Patreon's Edit Profile page: click on the menu and select "My Profile Settings". We've had people change their names for the satisfaction of having a joke name read on-air, which we totally respect.  [Note, however, that your name will be updated on every Patreon project that you're backing, so expect some weird shout-outs on other podcasts.  Thanks so much to Lt. Neil Studd for this intel.]   

3. My RSS link isn't working - any help?

It seems like this has been finicky on Patreon (particularly if the app you're using is Podcast Player).   Some have had luck deleting and reinstalling the Patreon app (see the comments for this thread below).  One app that seems to work better is Podcast Addict.  If any crew has other workaround for this, please message us!  And if all else fails, message us and we'll hammer it out with Patreon.  

4. "I can't find posts for certain past bonus episode content which should be there!" 

The little boxes at the the top of the timeline for content categories can be useful -- or would be if two idiots weren't running this site. Occasionally over time, some episodes weren't tagged which is how these boxes are labelled.  In addition, sometimes a word search won't work because we haven't always used a uniform verbiage to label the episodes.  We've tried to fix this over time.  If you spot content that hasn't been labelled/tagged appropriately, please let us know and we'll fix it!  Other than that, if you don't see what you're looking for, probably the best way to find it is to scroll backward on the timeline and it you should eventually find it.  But if you don't, let us know!  

5. Where's the TNC Discord?
