Picard absolutely killed the woman at the end. When Data said, "Do you know anything about this?", Picard could have easily said "Beam the occupant out immediately" but instead gave his action move line and waited for the ship to explode. I wonder if this is one of the first signs of Raffi's suggestion in Picard that "Every part of that guy that's not ego is rampaging id"... NOTE TO ANDY: that last sentence is purely to poke Matt's inner nerd-bear - I leave it up to you whether to say it or not ;-)
