They're doing some amazing stuff that honestly I've always hoped would happen. Stop looking at lower decks as comedy writers and just watch as Trek fans (since it's mostly fan service anyway) because this little show is packing some big punches.

2023-10-29 14:39:13 +0000 UTCArcher’s retelling of Daniels’ instructions to T’Paul (misspelled to assist Andy) jumped out as really clunky dialogue. There was no proper discussion, just vague short statements of “Daniels said this” and “Daniels said that” as T’Paul asked reasonable questions. I would like to think the two of them would have an actual conversation with ideas and opinions about something this important, especially considering the Vulcans’ dismissal of time-travel. And so much time was spent watching a character we don’t know abuse marginalized people like it’s Star Trek: Criminal Minds - such a snore. This episode lost my attention pretty quickly due to it being bad tv.
