Sketchbook Dump
Added 2020-11-13 23:05:41 +0000 UTCLately my work days have been tied up in commissions, but I've squeezed in a little time to do some sketching.
The first piece is just a sketch of Jua done with a purple col-erase pencil. It's just a highschool age Jua sitting around outside her school.
The second piece is an action shot of Leo Whitestar, an old City of Heroes character of mine, with lots of liberties taken, who's going to be the leader of my little Guardians thing, unless something changes when I get to seriously writing instead of just note-taking for ideas.
The third and fourth are both the same character, with me working out her look. Persi was also one of my City of Heroes characters, but I've modified her a LOT from her original look. I am currently settled on the second version of her with the axe and full-faced helmet.
The fifth piece is, again, a character I stole from City of Heroes to use in the Guardians thing. Pep had no weapons in the game, being a 'street fighting' powerset character. I didn't want to give her power armor, or a weapon really, so she got big oversized gauntlets and an energy shield.
The last drawing is Belle, Persi's daughter. Her sword is why her mother has an axe. I don't want to repeat weapons yet, and Persi's sword actually is a part of her original characterization, even though her outfit has basically been totally abandoned.
The 'Guardians' character drawings have been full of story ideas for me, but I don't count on any of them making to the final version.
