Unicorn!
Added 2025-12-08 22:14:26 +0000 UTCHere's my puppet! She took up a lot of last month, which I intended to try to make up some of toward the end of the month, but instead got a broken arm. She has a rod that lets me turn the head left and right, and a lever with a cord to let her look up and down. She's operated with my right hand (which I can not use right now) with magnets in her side/back to hold the fake right hand in place, so it looks like I'm just holding her with both hands. Her horn lights up with EL wire under the foam clay I sculpted it in, and her eyes are hollow baubles so they kind of follow the viewer. The last pic is just a little imp thing I sculpted to wear on my shoulder, it's also held in place with magnets. I made them to wear to cons and what-not, and thankfully they survived the wreck. They were in the car with us.
as for the sale, I'm having a hard time getting my shit together to take the pics, but I'm working on it. I'm not sure if I can get it done by tomorrow or if it'll be Weds. Everything currently takes so much more effort to do than it used to, and I'm getting exhausted so much easier, because I'm sleeping in 1-2 hour blocks. I'll keep you updated though!

As soon as my arm is able to work her again, I'd LOVE to get some footage of her. I'm stupidly proud of her, and now just want to make puppets forever. It actually was my childhood dream job. I wanted to work with Jim Henson.
