Ty Lee's reaction, her betrayal, was an instinctual act of protection. Her platonic love and genuine care for Mai caused her to react. I love how complex and complete these relationships are!!!!!!!!!! And how realistic they are. You do some wild things when youre protecting the ones you love....even betraying the Fire Prinicess. And you do it without thinking
