You guys always have great reactions, and I greatly appreciate the respect you show for the men in the armed services. ππ»
Can I give a movie recommendation? Speaking in terms of the well to survive, I think you would both enjoy The Revenant with Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hardy. Great film about the strength of the human spirit.

Ok so a little bit of context here. The scene at the end with General Garrison wiping up the blood was meant to convey that the impact of his decision to launch the raid into the city. The blood of those that died is literally on his hands. He realized in that moment those that died were because of his actions not so much who killed them. This is why the film ends stating that he took full responsibility for the raid and his retirement. A lot of people I've seen watch this movie completely miss this symbolism.
You also mentioned the casting. They wanted to cast actors for the roles that would be believable and be as close to the soldiers in real life they were portraying without the film being about any one actor getting all the attention.
