Ok liam...to answer your question about selina....her backstory is never told in the movie but danny Boyle the director said that him and naomie harris who plays selina wrote a background story for selina that she had to kill her infected parents in order to save her little brother only to find out later that her little brother was also infected and she had to kill him too..that's why she's a no bullshit survivor.

2025-07-03 20:46:52 +0000 UTCThe deserted London streets were done with the help of the UK government and the met police...the production had permission to shoot the scenes early at the weekend and the police held back morning traffic only for an hour....the police held back traffic to a slow roll for the far shots on the motorway towards Manchester for 30 mins only so danny Boyle had 10 cameras set up for ten angles for each shot in both locations....its an absolutely iconic scenes of London so empty and quiet...the reason steph why the footage is grainy is because they literally uses video cameras of the time it really adds to the tone of the movie....this was made before the walking dead aired and even the makers of the walking dead said they used the same kind of beginning for rick to wake up in a hospital also.
