You absolutely must see Whiplash after that! Although La La Land is made for me (i'm big musical fan), I prefer Whiplash whose directing seems to me more justified and less catalogue (La La Land is a tribute film, so the ostentatious staging is somewhat justified I suppose). The message of Whiplash isn't necessarily the one I subscribe to, but the film is strikingly brilliant in many places. And if you like the film's colours and photography, you should definitely turn to the cinema of Jacques Demy. Chazelle fully admits that he was big inspiration for his aesthetic, his music (inspired by the one composed by the brilliant Michel Legrand) and his choreography. I recommend โLes Demoiselles de Rochefortโ, a very seminal film in France.

Emma Stone is so insanely talented. As is Ryan Baby Goose lol And you guys really, really need to watch Casablanca. 59:10 JV about to say what everyone was thinking ๐ lol 59:17 Other page, you say? ๐ค๐ lol 1:40:25 That's a Peterman now Jane lol Again, great movie and great watch. You guys are hilarious and i was happy to see I was right about the chair dancing. So very hot ๐ฅ๐ฅต Lol ๐ค๐
