Alexander's armor remains almost exactly as described by Plutarch and in the Alexander mosaic. Saka's cavalry is cataphracts.

Be that as it may, Battle of Jaxartes is very interesting, and I recommend reading it as Arrian's account is the most detailed (Curtius did not write about diarrhea lol) I wanted to post a link to Perseus, but it was only in Classical Greekπ
