XX-Little?

I just bought this shirt yesterday. I was so sure that 2XL (women’s section, I’m in Larges in men/unisex... for now) would fit nice and leave me some room to grow over the summer. But just an average stuffing later, my stomach already hangs out???? Right after I popped the button on my brand new 38” Shorts too... 😔💦
