Patreon Bonus Build -- Repair Need Parts!

Another updated version of Demo IV which includes various other performance and gameplay tweaks and improvements. The key new feature here is weapons have health bars and repairs need parts! Bigger weapons can now take more than 1 critical hit before being destroyed. A weapon that's taken a hit is considered damaged. Damaged weapons can be repaired with cash but destroyed weapons require replacement parts. Scrounging spare parts has therefore never been more important.

For those not crazy about this new feature don't worry, it's an optional feature when you start a new game. Just toggle it off if you don't like it and then cash can repair all items, even fully destroyed pieces of equipment.

Beyond this new feature, a number of other things have been updated and fixed. Assassination, convoy, and frontline battle missions have all received tweaks and fixes. Controller support is now more integrated into the game for those who might try to play this on a mobile device like a SteamDeck. Other smaller updates include a change to how lists function (you now must click on a list mech item to highlight it, previously just moving your mouse over an item would do it), dynamic mouse cursors have been added throughout, snowfall has been added to snow levels, and probably more that I can't think of in the moment!

Currently the Windows and Linux version of this build are being bundled together. Use the EXE for Windows and the binary for Linux. Otherwise, please note this build is considered experimental. If you encounter any issues please let me know on the discord! Thanks!!!

Update 11/18/23: Fixed bug that would crash the game if you tried to enter the Starport, and another that would crash with certain text color values in places like the salvage screen

Update 11/19/23: Fixed a bug that would sometimes crash the game during the salvage screen on the final mission of a campaign. Also NEW FEATURE added in red arrow indicators that pop up in combat when off-screen units are taking damage.
