First, let me tell you about my illness last year. (I am now completely cured, so you can rest assured that I am here to tell you about it.)

Last year, Nanairotentou faced a major challenge.

Our designer, Nanao, was hospitalized after complaining of eye discomfort.

The cause was a tumor found between the brain and the optic nerve.

If left untreated, the disease can eventually lead to blindness.

It is a disease with a high survival rate,

But the doctor said.

"There is a low probability of blindness or worsening of symptoms and paralysis of the limbs.

The doctor explained to me.

Either of these symptoms would be fatal to the designer.

At the time, I was almost crushed by the fear of surgery and the uncertainty of what lay ahead.

In those days, the support and encouragement from the fan club members and the interaction on social networking sites were a great motivating force to get up from the depression.

My feelings were especially saved by

at a photography competition we held on Twitter.

During Nanao's surgery,

I was so scared that I was getting colder and colder from the knees down

I still remember losing feeling in my toes.

Such a hard time,

I would like to thank everyone who participated in the photo session.

I looked at the doll photos filled with positive atmosphere, and the act of leaving comments on each one

I was able to calm my anxious mind a lot.

Fortunately, the tumor was located between the brain and the optic nerve.

Thanks to the fact that I was able to recognize the symptoms early, I was able to undergo surgery at a very early stage.

The surgery was a success, and I have no aftereffects, which I was worried about.

During the rehabilitation period, I received a comment from Nanao

「I can see as well as before again.」

I couldn't stop crying when I saw the video sent from the hospital room.
