March Updates

Hi everyone!

I hope you're all well! Needless to say, it's been yet another busy month. In terms of video updates, I finished the script, recorded the audio and am almost done editing it. Progress continues to be slow but steady, not much more I can say :')

My exciting update (more for me than anyone else) is that at the very end of April, I'll be going on an almost month-long trip to Japan and Korea! It'll be my first time going to both and a long-awaited tick off my bucket list. It's just a personal trip but I'll of course be taking plenty of photos and videos so I'm sure I'll be sharing those in some format -- though whether as a dedicated vlog-type video, as part of a wider video essay or as something else, I'm not too sure. I'm not going to focus on that while I'm there, but I'll even be going to Shirakawa-go (the inspiration for Hinamizawa/where the original photo backgrounds in the Higu sound novel were taken), so I'm sure I'll want to talk about that at least a little.

Planning this trip is one of many things that's kept me busy, and it's also the longest break I'll have had since I started my job last summer, so I'm planning to forget all my other responsibilities while I'm there :) I'm also going on holiday for a week with some friends not long after I get back. As such, I really, really do want to get the Tokyo Godfathers video out before then and will be making every effort to do so.

This year is a really exciting one for me, packed full of lots of experiences I've been wanting to have for a long time. I'm torn between wanting to keep them to myself and wanting to share them, as I have so much of my life through my channel. I think I tread this line well with the TG video, but I'm continually thinking about whether I want to make some other more personal projects later in the year. This is just me thinking aloud though. Whatever little I do manage to make this year, it's sure to be interesting and new!
