My thought is that you're going into an awful lot of detail for : (1) just getting into the blue sun academy (2) for people and a situation where it's all throwaway and if the MC dies he can try again

2025-03-16 22:35:35 +0000 UTCAgain this ruse isn’t very concrete and doesn’t give a suitable explanation so he isn’t being dismissed as a villager. Which leaves it up to the interpretation of the rest of the retinue be it positive or negative. If I were the body guard I would be very suspicious of the strange village boy who isn’t very phased by their whole village being slaughtered. You’d be expecting lots of grief not a few words considering their whole world would have been upturned.
