Ke Yin is driven by revenge to go on a great quest where he gains the power and experience to strike down the evil Skybound. Alternatively, she's a princess and the guard is her world-weary companion sworn to her service. Though he doesn't trust Ke Yin, he can't help but acquiesce to his lady's desires. He doesn't have any magical powers, but he is extremely well trained.
