The two times a Demonic Cultivator tried to invade his inner world (his Ancestor & Wei Lin), the Genesis Seed has just yanked the opposing Cultivators Power into itself!

I’m sure it would be painful, but it’s likely the only way to ensure the corruption is excised. It could be super useful for Ke Yin as well. If the Seed can steal the whole stall, then maybe Ke Yin can start converting one Sun Energy into the other (and vice versa)?? That’d let him keep the two Suns in balance, until he eventually merges them together!

Also, I think it was very heavily implied the his family got the Merchant's Path method from the previous sect master's wife, as it mentioned that she had some hooks in one of the competitors (specifically not Wu Kangming or Ke Yin).

What if the merchant path cultivation method is based off of the world tree sutra? That would explain how Wei Lin’s family got a hold of it, as well as its compatibility with otherworldly energies

2025-08-28 21:42:19 +0000 UTCMy guess is that since Wei Lin lacked a cerulean vein or a red sun tattoo, he had nothing to properly anchor the energies, so they were easily ripped away or decided to migrate to a more stable environment. The cathedral was more collateral damage from the Genesis Seed's reaction to an invader, and he was forced to do the thing of; sever the limb to save the body.

2025-08-28 20:34:41 +0000 UTCSo, while I'm hyped for the next and maybe final Two Suns World Arc, I really hope there will be some Cracks in the relationship between Ke Yin and Wei Lin. Wei Lin betrayed Ke Yin's trust in one of the worst ways imaginable, cause of greed and envy. It's totally normal to feel those feelings, but acting on them when your best friend and benefactor warns you against it is messed up. I either hope that Ke Yin will be mad, after he saved Wei Lin's life or that Wei Lin will feel too ashamed to face him. Actions must have consequences.

I knew that Ke Yin would go to the Two Suns World for Wei Lin, but I wasn't sure if Ke Yin was gonna give up to save him or he would be able to connect. I think the only reason Wei Lin survived is that the Cathedral only a part of his Cultivation is, but not it's central Pillar like with the Demonic Cultivator. You can cut of an arm and survive, but not your head or heart
